With our newly owned car (we named it Lou) we decided to drive a bit through Canada. We picked the Banff National Park as destination so we can hike a little between Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. I have never seen a lake more turquoise than Lake Moraine. It is incredible to see but sadly it is also totally over-crowded with tourists. Most of them don't hike so if you just walk around the lake a bit you can escape from the crowds.

So blue! #nofilter |
Canadas nature is amazing to see! It looks similar to what we are used in Austria except that everything is way bigger and there are a lot of bears. We actually had to be careful with the food we had in our car. Also there are signs everywhere with bear warnings. Even the waste bins have a special construction to keep the bear away

A little bit frightening |
While we drove our little detour we mostly listened to Canadian R'n'B (only radio frequency we got but quite nice to listen to haha) and we stopped a few times to hike and take pictures. Unfortunately the weather started to get cold and snowy so we soon drove on to America. Just one week later it started snowing in Banff so we have been really lucky as we have just packed our summer clothes.
