Talking about National Parks in North America you have heard probably about Yellowstone, Yosemite and Everglades. Now please add the Zion National Park to the list.
All the landscapes I have seen so far Utah surprised me. I have never before seen so beautiful red rock formations and seemingly endless canyons. Especially in the Zion National Park we could have hiked for at least two more weeks. Besides the mars like landscape we also got to see bisons, mountain goats, snakes, tarantulas and squirrels.
More perks of Zion: it is really cheap. The entry is 35$ for a week and you get the free shuttle bus through the Park. Also the camping area a few minutes outside the park is for free. Our only expenses durning the time were the food we cooked and the fire wood to keep us cozy at night.
